Thruway Route Returns to San Francisco

Amtrak Thruway bus service between San Francisco and Emeryville, California, has resumed although on a reduced schedule.

The buses connect in Emeryville with Amtrak’s San Joaquins, California Zephyr, Coast Starlight and some Capitol Corridor trains.

In a service advisory, Amtrak said the buses will only stop at the San Francisco Salesforce Plaza and Emeryville stations. Buses will not stop at the Oakland Jack London station.

Seating capacity is limited in order to maintain social distancing.
