Wolverine Service train No. 353 will operate 15 minutes earlier during its journey from Pontiac, Michigan, to Chicago.
In a service advisory, Amtrak said the change was being made to improve reliability.
The advisory did not explain what prompted the change, which takes effect on July 8.
