Amtrak Names 3 New Vice Presidents

Amtrak has appointed three new vice presidents, all of whom will be based at the carrier’s Washington headquarters.

Roger Harris was named vice president of long distance service. He will be responsible for the business performance of Amtrak’s routes of 750 miles or more between endpoints.

Robert Jordan is the assistant vice president of stations. This new position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and customer experience at more than 500 stations on the national network.

Bruno Maestri will become vice president of government affairs and corporate communications. He will be responsible for Amtrak’s annual funding from Congress and for enhancing and protecting Amtrak’s reputation and brand with key stakeholders.

Harris and Jordan will start with Amtrak later this month while Maestri will come onboard in March.
